As artists in residence for CETUS, August 2019, at Robson Bight (Michael Biggs) Ecological Reserve, we were there to react to the landscape. We found beach rope, its textures, sizes and patterns to have a tragic beauty of their own. We didn't just want to take pictures of whales or landscape; rather we wanted to preserve something, isolate and contain future micro plastics from the environment, so we canned the rope.
